和成群，1954年生。一级美术师；西安外国语大学汉学院书画专业教授；中国书画函授大学教授、硕士生导师；陕西省书协会员、陕西省美协会员；西安市美协理事；西安市书法家协会正书委员会副主任；西安市书协、美协西郊分会会长；陕西齐白石研究会副秘书长；《中国当代卓越书画家大辞典》顾问；中国曹州牡丹画院名誉院长，陕西太白书画院常务院长，陕西文化促进会理事。

    1987年入中国书画函授大学学习，系统化、规范化学习中国绘画艺术和传统技法，钻研中国传统文化，1990年以优异的成绩毕业，并留校任教。2002年起，在西安外国语大学汉学院教授外国留学生学习中国书法、国画至今。

    作品强调以思想以学问来渲染气氛，重视理论支撑，既博采众长，又大胆探索，作品风格用色大胆而不落俗套，含蓄中追求浑厚，构思巧妙，意境新派，深受广大群众喜爱。在教学之余，创作大量书画作品，应邀参加国内、国际高规格书画展、赛，并多次获奖，省、市级电视台多次专题报道。

    作品入选《北普陀藏画集》等多部专业画集，1993年《和成群国画创作选》出版发行。《和成群学生作品选》《和成群国画·和成群学生国画选》于2001年出版，已收入《中国当代艺术界名人录》《陕西美术家》《陕西百年经典-美术百家》等多部典籍，荣获“国际文化交流荣誉奖”，授课学生获国家、省级一、二等奖者近400人，200余幅书画作品被日本、新加坡、德国等30多个国家、地区、团体以及个人收藏。

he chengqun,born in qin yang,he nan province in 1957,is a finstclass artist,a professor of painting and callingraphy in school of chinese studies in xi'an international studies university and chinese callingraphy and painting correspondence university.he is a member of artist associations and callingfaphy associations of xi'an city,shan'xi province and that of china,director of xi'an artist association,and vice secretary chief of shan'xi qi beishi research instituer.

his works stress the importance of thoughts and learning.he has been invitd to take part in large painting and callingraphy exhibitions in china,in which he won prizes for many times.his works have been included in a collection of paintings by north pupuo and other similar collections.a selection fo tradition chinese paintings by he chengqun was published in 1993.he is good at not only painting but also other related skills.his callingraphy enjoys the taste of elegance.his atrticles are fresh,meaningful.passionate and direct.many of his theses,poems and works of paintings appeared in lots of different magazines and newspapers.over 200 of his paintings have been collected by individuals and organizations in about 30 countries and regions,such as japan,singapore.and germany.his name and many of his work anr included in the dictionary of famous contemporary chinese artsts,shan'xi artsts and shan'xi well-known artsts and classic works.he was once awarded the international cultural exchange prize.360 of his students have won the first and second national and provincial prizes.he chengqun's students'selected works was published in jauuary,2001 and so was a collection fo he chengqun and his students'works of traditional chinese painting in july in the sama year.many of his studtents managed to go to japan and france for further study.he chengqun is currently a consultant for the dictionary of outstanding contemporary chinese painters,the honorary dean of china cao zhou mudan art academy,and acing president of taibai chinese callingraphy and painting institute shan'xi P.R.china.
